Facility and Operations

Our gun range is conveniently located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and is easy to get to via I-59 and Hwy 49. The range is about three miles North of Camp Shelby's North Gate Entrance off of HWY 49 and directly behind Roses Bar-B-Q. 

 

For general usage, we are a private members-only range complex with facilities open to members 365 days a year. Our range was developed to be a safe place for people of all skill levels to be able to shoot their firearms and hone their shooting skills. We have a covered rifle range with firing lines up to 200 yards, multiple pistol ranges, plenty of steel target shooting, women's firearms training and meetings, and a classroom for enhanced carry classes and other firearms courses, we offer something for EVERYONE. 

Membership

Annual Range Membership dues are required to shoot at our Range Facility.  Click here for Membership Options.

Day Passes

We currently offer day passes on Fridays and Saturdays only.  If you would like to shoot any day of the year, we encourage you to pursue membership.

Nonmembers of the range can obtain a shooting day pass if they meet specific criteria.  Nonmembers shall present a valid state-issued ID card to be copied and kept on file. Nonmembers shall complete a safety and range expectations orientation and sign a waiver and release form.  Nonmember users must be able to possess and or use a handgun legally. Once all requirements have been met, a non-member will be allowed to shoot after paying a forty-dollar ($40) day pass fee. 

 

ATTENTION Day pass users must have their own firearm, eye protection, ear protection, targets, and a way to place the targets onto the target backers.

Summer Hours Begin March 1st

Monday - Saturday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm  

Sunday: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm

 

Winter Hours Begin November 1st
Monday - Saturday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

 

Available Ranges

Pistol Ranges:
The Pistol Ranges offer shooting lanes with ranges from 5, 10, 15, and 20 yards.  Shooters will utilize target stands and frames provided by our range. The pistol ranges will also have steel targets. Please refer to our steel target shooting >RULES< for IMPORTANT information on shooting steel. 

 

Rifle Range:
The rifle range currently offers shots up to 200 yards. There are shooting tables with sandbags for supporting a rifle underneath a covered firing line.  We provide target stands, and shooters can engage targets out to 200 yards.

 

Range Requirements:

  • Hearing and Eye protection are always required while on the shooting ranges.

  • All firearms will be handled safely at the range (see range rules).

  • When moving on and off the range, firearms should be cased, holstered, or otherwise rendered safe.

  • Shooters are responsible for policing their brass, targets, and other trash.

  • All members must be familiar with the range rules and take an orientation and familiarity class.
