Choose either the traditional in-person course or the blended format, which combines online learning with required in-person instruction.

The course covers firearm safety, Mississippi law, responsible carry, secure storage, conflict avoidance, and shooting fundamentals. Students also complete a live-fire range qualification.

After completing the course, you will receive the required class documentation and can continue the application process through the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
